I live in the city. I want to grow a hedge and garden to provide privacy in my yard. I live right on an alley. People cut diagonally across the front of my yard to reach the street and sidewalk. I want to grow a hedge in this area to block the foot traffic. What ideas to people have on creating a cheap and durable fence to block people from crossing my yard, until my yews grow large enough to do that themselves?
