This is my first year with a vegetable garden in Duluth. I seeded most of the garden the first week of June. I planted 70 day sweet corn and I see 1 baby corn cob starting. I planted early butternut squash (probably about 90 day squash)and I still don't see any blossoms. Anyone care to predict if I will get mature winter squash before frost? Of course, frost could be next week . . .

"Mr. Big" peas are getting fat pods, pole beans are blossoming, potato plants look great, quite a few green tomatoes, have some small cucumbers and summer squash blossoming. Plan to freeze some Swiss chard tomorrow. Perhaps the raccoons will visit tonight.
