My new home

Just thought I'd share some pics... this is the house I'm moving to on the 15th. Have you ever heard anyone mention that they 'bought a boatload' of plants? I have. I generally don't think they mean literally a boatload... BUT, I hauled a boatload of plants to the new house tonight. LITERALLY. I fit about 40 potted plants in the boat and pulled it over behind the blazer :-)

Ok, back to the new place. I'm showing you all the most important part. The yard, of course! I'm going to be doing a lot of shade gardening, but the middle of the yard does get a fair amount of sun, so there will be sun plants too. Can't wait to get my hands (and spade) into this.

The young man in the first picture is my son Jeremy. Daughter-in-law Alyssa was around as well, but somehow manated to escape the camera.

Wow, lots of space to fill. This season will be doubly busy for you with a move and 'the usual' fall chores.
Hope you are able to wedge in a short visit at Marigold Days...but if not will talk to you soon.

That could be the most stately Northern Pin oak I've ever seen. Just grand!
