Elderberry

I just planted a Black Lace Elderberry yesterday. Hope Im not too late in the season.

Does anyone know if one is enough? Do I need more for pollination? I do have 4 other elderberries - all are canadenis, 2 spring flowering, 2 mid-summer flowering. I believe Black Lace also flowers in the spring, so maybe it and the 2 spring flowering canadenis will pollinate together.

If I need two, I have read that the Black Lace will root easily from hard wood cuttings. Does that make the cutting a separate plant? It would still seem to be genetically the same as the plant it was cut from, but does it become a separate pollinator? Thanks. Carmellia
