I see them now and then at Bachman's. Back when I grew a lot of them, I got all mine mail order, and was always pleased with them. Then have no soil roots, so they ship very easily.

I don't grow them now, since I moved, and the water here is terrible.

BTW, I'm not sure if you realize this, but even though they are often called air plants, they don't just live on air, but need water, and perhaps the tiniest bit of fertilizer. The gray forms are the easiest to care for, and Tillandsia ionantha is virtually indestructible. Tillandsia bulbosa was the most difficult one I grew.
