Following up after the Plymouth Swap

So after chatting with some of you at the Fall Swap in Plymouth, I finally created a user profile for my mom and me. Those of you who were there probably saw us, we brought the red trailer full of plants and the annoying huskies who knocked down my dad.

I wanted to thank everyone who took our things, especially Lori if she's on the forum, for promising a home to all the leftovers. A big thanks also to everyone who brought things, we got some lovely ferns and hostas which I planted alongside the paths in our woods. Always nice to find shade plants for back there.

Hey there Flower Cat!! Welcome to GW! Welcome to the MN forum! So glad you are here!
It is always a treat to see you both at the Plymouth swap- I hope to see you at some of our little get togethers too!
I think our next get together will be our Winter Blues Seed Swap sometime in January. I do not know if we have a place to have it yet....
You will find many great folks here- and some great topics as well!

Welcome Flower Cat. You and your Mom are always so generous with your plants. This was my second time going to the Fall Plymouth swap and I can honestly say you both made it worth the trip for me. I came home with several daylilies. I was afraid I was being piggy and your Mom said to take all I wanted because they would be going to the compost heap otherwise.

Julie I have volunteered to do the Seed Swap at my house in Apple Valley and Dave offered to help me if I needed some computer expertise.

We're going to pass on the seed swap, unfortunately...it sounds like fun, but when we start from seed, we tend to get a fungus :(

Mary, definitely when it comes to us at the swap, there's no such thing as being piggy...we were so worried we'd have to compost tons of leftovers. I hope the daylilies do well for you!

TwoHuskies, I saw the picture of your dogs, they're gorgeous! We also have two huskies, as the poster who mistook you for us noted. Hopefully my post cleared that up. As they said, you should come to the next swap, mostly because I love meeting dogs. Plus, you know, the whole swap thing.

Check out the wintersowing forum for starting seeds without fungus or the in house mess...
If you try it- you will get hooked!!!
