My latest and greatest for this year- R.triloba

I just had to show this pic of my Rudbeckia triloba. I didn't know what this was when it showed up in my yard two years ago, small(1 foot) and spindly-in poor ground for sure. But I saved some seeds and last year struggled to get a couple of seedlings in the ground, which I forgot about.

So, this year I see this plant coming up and I don't have a clue what it is until in August it starts to bloom. And what a bloomer it is. Four feet tall and covered head to toe with blossoms for going on 36 days now with no signs of stopping.

I just had to show you what you're missing if you don't have this.

Ignore the Goldsturm in the lower right.
