Don't forget yellow

The only thing blooming in my garden yet is a yellow rose (which I bought as an afterthought, since I'm partial mostly to pink ones) and I must tell you that yellow really pops at dusk and all night long. I'm still waiting for white flowers but I'm sure glad I have that yellow. Just thought I'd share...

RE: Don't forget yellow

I have to agree with you here in NJ. A number of years back, I wanted an English garden look and gave away all of my yellow plants. Eventually, I learned this was a mistake as any yellow, pale or bright in moderation makes the garden beautiful and yes, shows up better when other flowers don't. (I asked my friend for some back -- I think she forgot -- never throw any plant or seed away)
