 o
color arranging

I was just wondering what color flowers people are putting in their moon gardens? I have white moonflowers as well as pink ones, but I thought pink ones would be weird in a moon garden. I was thinking white and blue flowered plants or maybe just an all white garden. I figured I would ask on here and see what other people are doing with their gardens and maybe I could get some ideas on where to go with mine.
Thanks,
Holly

Mine is all white, but a little pale yellow shows up good under the light of the moon too.

I'm doing white flowers and flowering shrubs with dark red and purple foliage plants. Once my seedlings grow on, some of my full sun coleus plants will be added in as well. I think the light and dark will work well in the day and at night.

hmmmm, well I think the day night thing is an interesting idea. I think I will stick to all white though, or maybe some white and light blue and yellow and keep it to that. Thanks for helping! I don't know why that all just hit me, lol but suddenly I know what I want to do!

It may be well over the fact, since now you've decided but I'll put in my two cents anyway. I am doing mostly white but adding in subtle colors. There are plants that are mostly white with specks of color in them to make them interesting in the day as well. I ordered tulips (single late tulip, world expression) that are mostly white with red towards the bottom coming up in streaks almost. Another white tulip with pink edges is the Triumph Tulip 'Shirley'. I also ordered some white daffodils with a green center (Misty Glenn). There are a lot of daffodils with white petals and colored centers. My moon garden is still under construction so thats about as far as I got so far!
