| Hi, I have heard of moon gardens but never knew exactly what one is.
I have what I call a fairy garden, meant for meditation, and we see white lights flitting around it. They mostly like the "wild" area of the garden full of rhodies and vinca major, not the cultivated part. Is a moon garden mostly white plants? Plants that bloom and smell at night? and what is the purpose? Is it spiritual? |

| The discription at the top of the post says the moon garden holds interest at night. I bet it could be anyone of those things you mentioned. Another reason I think it might be so popular- so many folks are gone all day and can't enjoy the fruits of their labor as much as they want- hence, a garden "alive" at night extends the pleasure... | This sounds fascinating! I'm glad I found this forum. Now I'm off to see what plants bloom or, shine, at night. |
