I recently came upon startling info that the moon flower has a drug like effect if eaten. Is this true? I am worried because I wanted to cover my fence with them, but a lot of kids live in my area. I'd hate to see someone fall ill.

RE: moonflowers

All morning glories have this effect. Don't tell the kids and they won't eat them. They only eat them if they hear they can get high (poisoned!). They taste bad, so I wouldn't worry about it too much.
