speed of moon flower growth

I put some moon flower seeds in the ground and it took two weeks to pop up there first to leaves. About two weeks later they got two more leaves. Is it going to get any faster than this. Just recently I planted 6 more seeds around a home made bamboo tepee for my girls. I'm hoping it doesn't take all summer to cover it. I live in lower SC, I'm wondering about the amount of time to grow to around 5 foot tall. Thanks

I've found - as have people I've shared the seed pods with - that moonflower will flower faster if you don't fertilize too much. My best display was in a hanging pot on the wall that went up the around the awning. It was beautiful and flowered profusely. I was a bit late getting mine started this year and it's a bit too cool outside so I have 8 little seedlings growing in yogurt cups (recycled for starter pots!).

Don't know why my photo links didn't work before but I'm trying again ... these are pics from 2007 and once they Moonflower gets started they really take off!
