Hi all,
I am a newbie at moon gardening, but I thought I would plant one this year. I have a garden right under my bedroom window that I started as a memory garden for my mom and dad. I would love to have it blooming at night too!
What are some plants that I could start with? I have started moonflowers with seed and they are doing really well, but was wondering what other plants I could use.
Thanks

Hi annielu! I am not sure what zone you are in but I too have been looking into starting a moon garden. I read that delphinium, lambs ear,Artemsia,Japanese Amenome and Phlox for perennials. for annuals, flowering tobacco ( which I hear is fragrant)night phlox and spider flowers to name a few. You want to keep the main color whites and use silvery foliage (dusty millers). I bet the veragated hostas would look nice as well. ( I hope I spelled that right) in other words the lighter green with white. I am excited to get mine underway as well. I think I might mix some pastels in somewhere to give it some color during the day. Good Luck. I would love to see pictures of the final product.
