| Hi,
This plant looks like a large dandelion plant (the leaves). It has long stemmed thin buds that open as you watch them. They open at dusk. The flower is yellow. I appreciate any help you can give me. I will email anyone pictures who would like to confirm what it looks like. |

| Sounds like Evening Primrose, but I would need the photo to be sure. Mike |

| The flowers look like evening primrose, but I've never seen leaves of that type. I will research it further. Does it grow wild outside in your area? |
|
| Could it be Hieracium, aka hawkweed? I believe the flowers open as you describe. Some species are invasive; be careful! |

| It's Oenothera triloba, Stemless Evening-Primrose!! I finally widened my search to 'wildflowers' and finally nailed it at http://2bnthewild.com/. A Google search for 'Oenothera triloba' brings up good pictures of our night bloomer! Whew! |

| Hi- Anyone still have this little beauty? My mom gave me this before she passed away- then we had to move down South in the middle of winter, so I couldn't bring it down with me. I'd appreciate it if anyone would like to trade with me, or tell me where I can purchase it! thank you so much! kasha77 |

| Oh my gosh! Thank you so much! Below is my picture taken in 2004. I have since moved and my plant did not survive that move. I was not smart enough to harvest any seeds either. I have been looking for the name of this moonflower for 5 years now! Thank you so much!!!! |
