 o
white Sue or Sharon

Howdy ~

I'm usually in the Texas forum but occasionally lurk over here. I'm planning what I've been calling a Serenity Garden, but since I want it to be all white & green, it'll be similar to your moon gardens.

In it, I want to honor my grandmother & mother & assumed I'd have no trouble finding flowers with Sue or Sharon in the name b/c so many flowers have girls' names. But I've come up empty. I did find a gorgeous fuschia tulip named Curly Sue that I love, but its waaaaay off the color scheme. Rose of Sharon is off-color, also. I may have to do the same in a different part of the yard, but I'd really like it to be in this area. This is where I pray and do my Bible study.

Do y'all have any suggestions for white flowers or plants with Sue or Sharon (or similar variation) in the name?

RE: white Sue or Sharon

No help with susan but Rose-of-Sharon does come in pure white. Black-eyed-Susan doesn't have to mean bad, the thought is what is pure or bad.
