nsbkt, all the book says is not to transplant, or sow on the newmoon or fill moon.
Grafts take best when the sap is rising and therefore the Moon is waxing (from New to Full).
Always transplant when the Moon is increasing, between the New and Full Moon, and during a Fertile Moon sign.
Fertile signs are Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces.
Today the Moon is in Taurus. Tomorrow thru Saturday the moon will be in Gemini.
Barren signs are Gemini, Leo, and Vitgo.
Semi-Fertile Signs are Taurus, Libra, Capricorn.
Semi-Barren signs are Aries, Sagitarrius, Aquarius
