Moon Flowers Blooming.

I never even heard of Moon Flowers until last summer. A few of my residents had planted them and, at the end of their growing season, gave me several pods filled with seeds. I planted numerous seeds and, this year, I had 7 bushes come up. I got my first bloom tonight. It is as large as a salad plate and has a fragrance that is unlike any other flower.

This is my first year too. You are so right , the fragrance is wonderful. I hope I can get the seeds off for next year. I bought the seeds I planted this year in a package. so I'm not sure where the pods will come from on the vine. Will they come after all the blooms?

I had Moon flowers a couple of years ago. The pods form after the bloom if I remember correctly. I planted some this yr with no luck. If I can find some more seeds maybe I should plant them in the fall? They are wonderful!!!
