I have three beautiful moonflower vines, purchased 1 month ago - still in containers and doing well - lots of blooms. I need to know if these can be planted into the soil year round or must I bring them indoors in winter. If I must remove them, how do I care for them inside? I have been given conflicting instructions thus far. Thank you

My understanding is that they are annuals? Perhaps they can be salvaged, but they are pretty easy to grow by seed indoors (start them in late March).

They're morning glories. Treat them as you would any other morning glory. Most people I know collect seeds and then nick and soak them in March (ditto above) and start them either indoors or by the winter sowing method. See the winter sowing forum.

I HAVE MOONFLOWERS ALL OVER MY YARD, CAN'T KEEP UP WITH THEM.
THEY LIVE IN ALL MY PLANTS. I LOVE THEM, BUT THEY DRIVE MY HUSBAND CRAZY, WHICH IS OK.
THEY DIE DOWN IN WINTER,, BUT THEY ARE BACK EVER YEAR.FOR THE LAST 8 YEARS.
