My jasmine doesn't have any blossoms...help

| I'm new to this site...so hopefully this will work. My husband's grandmother gave me a jasmine from her garden of many night blooming jasmine. I planted it over a year and 1/2 ago and still no blossoms which means no beautiful fragrence. It is over 7ft tall and gets plenty of sun. Any suggestions? |

Well- well, with the crazy year we are having your Cestrum may just be behaving in harmony with nature. Often Cestrum don't
come into bloom until late August and often way into November. Try a pinch of Epsom salt and stop fertilizing. Water well with
each and every watering and do let the soil dry out a bit between watering.

| Ditto on the late blooming of Cestrum nocturnum. Mine just started forming floral branches (nothing has opened yet). Usually fragrance seems to peak in September and into October. If you want more year fragrance, you can add additional jasmines to your collection. Polyanthum blooms around February, sambac blooms throughout the year, angel jasmine seems to bloom in july-August and again in the middle of winter. Good luck! |
