Transplanting after poisoning?

Darn, my message didn't get posted T_T I'll try to sum it up again.

Alrighty, my step-mother poured vinegar into the long planter that my moonflowers are growing in on Thursday. I flooded the planter to try to get rid of the vinegar as much as I could. We were on vacation the weekend, but my friend watered the plants for me. When I checked on them today, one of the plants was very pale and pretty dead. I had looked online and read that vinegar wasn't really harmful to plants, but I guess that isn't true.

I don't want the rest of them to die. They've been growing since June, and there aren't any buds on them even. Don't ask why the woman tried to poison them, there isn't any excuse. What I need to know is if I should repot them with new soil and everything, and how I would go about doing that. They're twining up the side of the deck, and around each other (There were five plants, until one died), so I would hate to have to separate them all to wash the roots and repot them. My dad said it would be traumatic to do that.

So, any advice?

PS: I am new here!
