| You may get greenery but flowers are iffy. May depend on how long it stays warm in your area. Did you scarify (scratch the seed coat) the seeds prior to planting? That speeds things along. I also soak mine in water the nite before planting. I have lush vines on a lamp post and also cascading over a timber wall. The lamp post ones began blooming about 10 days ago and is loaded with buds. Can't remember when I planted them tho! early June maybe. |

I started seeds indoors back in April, planted outside on May 1. Didn't get a bloom until late July. They are blooming great now. The advice I got on the GW forums was NOT too much water & NO fertilizer! It worked. Good luck! |

| Just this PM when I came home there was a big beautful fragrant moonflower blossom nestled in my morning glory! Its the first moonflower I've been able to grow. I actually thought my husband had played a joke on me and stuck an artificial flower in there because I've been waiting so long for blossoms. I had planted both morning glory and moonflower seeds sometime in May to grow up my porch posts. Our weather had been very hot but it cooled down a little for a few days. Maybe thats what it needed. Anyway it is worth waiting for! |
