MoonFlower and Morning Glory on same fence?

Hi,
I have a BRAND NEW garden to work with this next year. Its on a townhome lot surrounded with a white picket fence. Pretty small. I was wondering if it would be OK to plant my Grandpa Ott's Morning Glory and my white Moon Flower on the same fence. Grandpa Ott's for a nice blue flower in the early to mid morning and the moon flower for some nice white fragrant glow in the evening. I was thinking about mixing the two together on one line of 20' fence. Any suggestions?

Thanks
James

I'm growing the same combination. Grandpa Ott's in between two arched trellises, with Moonflowers at the outsides, so they should grow up and over and meet somewhere in the middle. I can't wait to see what they look like together. :-)

I am also growing the same combination in containers on my porch deck. Granpa Otts Morning Glory's which I thought were purple but maybe they come in other colors and Moonflowers. I am anxiously awaiting this mixture, hope they grow okay.

I have always planted Moonflowers and morning glories together. That way, the morning glories greet me each day out the door and the moon flowers are just opening when I return home in the evenings.

somoeone gave me a moonflower and I know it blooms because I see the dead flowers in the morning, but how do you see them at night? I have never seen them yet.Could i put a spotlight on them? Are they a climber? Mine are just a little patch on the ground.

Is it possible for morning glory leaves root? A friend tells me she left some leaves in the bed where the morning glories are growing and she has a few clumps growing other then the ones she planted and this is the first year. I would also like to know why my morning glories are not blooming. They look very healthy but have no flowers or buds on them.
