RE: WANTED: Indiana plant swap

FYI, there is already one going! Got this email:
_______________________________________

Hello gardening folks!
It's nearly time for the Plant Swap at Holliday Park in Indianapolis. Scott (taternater) has been doing a fabulous job organizing the swap for the past few years, and has passed the organizer hat to me for this year.
It looks like May 21, 2006 would make a great day for the plant swap.
There have been some suggestions that we might change the format of the swap a little this year--Round Robin style.
For example:
Round one - everyone select one plant.
Round two - everyone select one plant.
Round three - everyone select 2 plants
Round 4 - everyone select 3 plants
Round 5 - everyone select 4 plants
And so on and so on.
This way everyone gets a chance to get some of the plants they really have on eye on. Everyone should be able to take home as many plants as they bring. Additionally, folks could still pre-arrange individual trades before the day of the swap.
I'd like to hear if anyone has any strong feelings for or against this idea in the next few days, before I post this on the "Get Together" forum on GardenWeb.
We'd also love to see some new folks at the swap this year. If anyone has ideas on where we might "advertise" to spread the word, please let me know
Thanks!
Fiona
