WANTED: groundcover plants or seeds

I'm looking for a groundcover that will grow and "creep" in Nebraska. I have had some luck with Dragon's Blood sedum, but it doesn't spread the way I want it to. I was reading that soapwort grows 12-30" and that's too high. I am trying to grow ajuga/bugleweed right now. Does anyone have a plant or seeds to trade? How about advice?

I have a great groundcover. It's a creeping veronica. Little purple flowers all over it in spring. It's doesn't crowd out other plants and grows well here in St. Louis MO. Got thru the 100 degree temps this summer just fine. Grows in shade or sun. Flowers look like creeping phlox but spreads faster. Only gets a couple inches high. Do you have anything to trade? Pat
