One Seed Chicago is an urban greening non-profit project that encourages gardening by letting Chicagoans vote for one of three seeds. The seed with the most votes is declared the winner and gets mailed, for free, to everyone who voted so they can grow it in their garden or join a community garden. If you'd like to participate, visit and vote at the site. Tell your friends and family in the area that they should vote too. It's a fun gardening related project and campaigning for your favorite candidate is encouraged.
