Soil-testing in Illinois?

Hello all!

I know this isn't a soil testing forum, but I have a very interesting situation.
I need a soil testing that doesn't just test the usual stuff but tests for hazardous chemicals from engine leaks, or anything else that comes from urban life.
I've recently come across a fallow land that the owner is going to allow me to use as a community garden space but I don't know what chemicals will be present in the soil. I'd like to test it before we grow food.

Thanks!

if no luck try your county extension agent,or a local ag fertilizer dealership or a local university look under a professour in the horticulture or soils dept.
