| I was browsing over my garden the other day and actually noticed that one of my clematis (jackmanii) has started to bud!! along with my daylillies - though i'm not as surprised to see them as i was the jackmanii. My other 2 are not as sheltered, and they normally don't sprout until may or so.
anyone else seeing early sprouting?? |
Follow-Up Postings:

| My clematises (clematii?) started sprouting leaf buds several weeks ago. All my narcissi and scilla and most crocuses have also started sprouting. That last cold spell put the breaks on everything. I'm just glad we got enough snow to protect the bulb shoots from the upcoming Artic blast. |

| Our Zone 5 plants will really earn their keep once the cold weather hits this week. Bundle up everyone! |
