I am only about an hour south of Indy and can tell you that tomatoes and peppers are always good to start indoors in IN. I happen to love being able to garden indoors year round with hydroponics, but most plants and veggies get transplanted outside with great success. (healthy roots=happy plants!)

I'll add broccoli, melons, large gourds, and many pereanial flowers to the indoor starting list.....many of these to get your favorite varieties.
