Looking for Gardening Group in my area

Hello,
I would like to become apart of a gardening group in my area and am not sure where to start looking.
If anyone knows of a group I would really love the information. I live in Northern Missouri around the Macon to Hannibal area.
Or if anyone can tell me how you found your garden groups I would appreciate that.
