anybody in my area (chicagoland) grow coral honeysuckle vine? ... i have seen pictures of 'goldflame' & 'mandarin', but, must admit, i find the whole thing confusing! ... are goldflame & mandarin just different *kinds* of coral honeysuckle? ...

if anyone replies ..... do you have problems with powdery mildew?

I grow honeysuckle. It's the one with yellow and white flowers. I really don't know the difference in them though. Try a google search and see what you find there. I search there alot to find out about different plants. It's very helpful. I don't have any problems with mildew though as far as I know.

I have a coral honeysuckle in my yard , got it kinda late last summer but it still had some flowers on it. No mildew though. My sister has a goldflame that has the same kind of flowers just different color. Hers was much bigger that mine and the hummers really loved it.
