Any Chicago seedling swaps in May?

I'd love to talk with some Chicago area people about the possibility of swapping extra annual and perennial seedlings ready for transplant, come May 15 or so.

Are there any such swaps already? If not, would anybody be interested in putting one together?

Look about 30 messages down for the "urban Chicago" thread. There's a mention about a Roger's Park swap the 1st weekend of June.

This particular discussion thread brought out a few of us on the northwest side, like yourself. If there is some interest, then maybe we could put together a swap for this part of town. I'm in Jefferson Park and would hope to attract people from the fancy landscapes of Sauganash and Forest Glen. :-)

I might be interested. I am doing a lot of Winter Sowing for the first time and may have a lot of seedling from the garden as well. I am in Jefferson Park and Portage Park. I have never been to any plant swap, though, so I don't know the do's and don't's.
