 o
bedding from a pet - good for garden?

Just read about horse manure with mushrooms growing. We have a pet guinea pig and use aspen bedding. I dump her bedding out twice a week onto a spot in the corner of our yard, and have mushrooms growing up in it.
Could I put this on our flower gardens instead?

Sorry, if I am asking a really out-of-here question, I just thought with the mushrooms growing.

Can't really say about guinea pigs, but most fresh manure is best composted first. The old stuff would be ok on the garden, the mushrooms are just breaking down the wood.
