I know I'm not the only one but everything looks sick
I even covered some. My tree leaves are really hit, also my tulips, columbines, lost my clematis last nite and I tried to wrap that young vine. Had some bulbs that green came up but were hit and my hostas that I planted 5 days ago. One thing my Hyacinths did ok and my short daffodils, thank heavens everything isn't up yet but I think they say there will be 2 more frost or freezes. Did yours survive? |

| Depressed, you said it! The only things that look fine are my Peonies, my Alaskan ground orchids and the Scuttelaria alpina... Everything else looks mushy....I cried, too. I am praying that they come out of it...I will even be fine if they don't bloom...just want them to survive. |

| We lost every thing as well! It is so awful! I felt like bawling! We have the most beautiful lilacs and azalias and the blooms are now mush! Our peonies look ok, and our tulips perked up, but our coral bells and hostas, spiria and lilies, do not look to good. Does anyone know if the tree leaves will come out of it?? Some of our tree leaves are crunchy! Do they lose their leaves and grow new ones, or do the leaves perk back up? It looks to me like they will lose them and have to grow new ones. Have you ever seen such nasty weather?! I live in Southwest Missouri. I think we are through with the nasty weather. Or so I hope! Good luck to you all who have more on the way. |

| Add my crying lament. We were going out of town for the Easter holiday, so I didn't even try to cover anything. I don't think it would have done much good, as cold as it was and for as long as it was. My azaleas were just getting ready to bloom. My lilacs were blooming for the first time since I planted them--their leaves look like cooked spinach. Roses look awful, clematis, mums, bleeding hearts, astilbe, and most of the daylilies, (and hybrid lilies)all fried! Peonies I'm still not sure about--some seem okay but other stems are droopy. Iris I can't tell about either. What a cruel joke for nature to play. The long-range forecast doesn't sound too promising either. |

I've lost everything! My columbines, hostas, astilbes, bleeding hearts, clematis and other plants that I can't remember the names...all turned to mush. The leaves on the ornamental trees, rose bushes are shriveled. The tulips did very well! Weather reported more freezing days ahead of us...I'm feeling it for more my plants. |
