Dwarf Boxleaf Euonymus

I planted a dwarf boxleaf Euonymus last year and over the winter it lost all of its leaves. I thought it was an evergreen. Did it die over the winter, or will it be blooming soon? I think it died, but my husband isn't convinced.

RE: Dwarf Boxleaf Euonymus

You have to be specific for these plants. You need to know the precise Latin description to help answer this (there are a number of varieties of 'dwarf boxleaf Euonymous). A number of these plants ARE evergreen, but only in warmer climes (not Zone 5, for instance, or marginal in that climate).
