I've had to give up gardening after 50 plus years here, but have a 12 ft circle, raised bed with flagpole in front, that we can't bear to give up. It's about half shaded most of the time, so I need something that will tolerate shade and sun. Can't manage annuals anymore. Would you try perennials, grasses, hosta, or what? We can probably stay in our home for at most 10 years..... What could we use as a focal point in the center? Thanks for any ideas!
