klk, I'm jealous that your Polish Spirit is blooming, mine is nubbins after the &^%$ rabbits have eaten it to the ground numerous times. When it was approx. 3' I noticed it was wilted and discovered they had severed the vines at the base. Everytime it starts to grow it gets eaten again. I have no idea why I haven't caged it yet (doh :)!!! Holly, my Jackmanii is loaded w/buds and I'm eagerly awaiting bloom! Motria, my oriental poppies are new, too, well the blooms anyhoo. I wintersowed them the winter before last and they are now blooming like mad. They are the bright, screaming orange variety but I ~love~ them!

I love this time of year! Everything is so green and colorful. Included a picture of my front garden- the foxglove, canterbury bells, coreopsis, carnations, clematis, roses, gallardia, maltese cross, strawberry, flax, yellow and pink primroses, and a few annuals are looking great! The Shasta's and Siberian Iris are about to show color. I am including a picture- hope it works- first time trying it!

Mock orange, a few irises still blooming, Stellas, the new Prairie Blue Eyes, all the oxalis, spiderworts, allium cristphi almost done, allium fireworks still going, asiatic lilies, LA hybrids, about half the mini roses, 3 of the large roses, honeysuckle, various annuals (half of them planted and bought more today).

Waiting on the ditch lilies, and Pandora's Box daylilies finally have scapes (first time, second year).

Lilies, lilies, and more lilies - my golden trumpet just opened - first time - wow, double wow! Mounds of bristal fairy baby breath with larkspur, lilies mixed in, sun beam coropsis, and just a few daylilies are opening. The baby's breath is a knock out this year. Piegirl

Help!! My Sweat Peas are not blooming!! They are getting huge, but no flowers!! My Columbine is absolutely breathtaking, Day Lillies are everywhere, and now I have some things coming up that I'm not sure what they are. I just moved here and am getting familiar with the yard. I think I have Hollyhocks coming up, but forget what the leaves look like. Does anyone know a web site where you can find identification of seedlings and new growth???

    An unknown floribunda rose bush
    Shasta daisy "Becky"
    Lots of salvia
    Speedwell "Babydoll"
    most of my hostas
a few rogue daylilies I have yet to dig out.
My crepe myrtle is just about to blossom
    Butterfly blue pincushion flowers
and my liatris are just starting to emit thier blooms for the summer. That's about it. Most of my garden explodes during the springtime. I'll have to work on the rest of the seasons as my garden progresses.
