Looking for suggestions for mailbox flower garden

Posted by leftylynn Wisconsin - Zone 4 (My Page) on

I'm starting a flower garden around my mailbox at the edge of the road. Can anyone suggest any plants that do well near the edge of the road with road salt, etc. ?

Thanks!

RE: Looking for suggestions for mailbox flower garden

I love Sedum Autumn Joy. It survives beautifully year after year in a dry space in my front planting. and looks great from May thru the winter. The only problem about planting it by the mailbox is that it really doesn't get that tall. However, I think I may try it there this year! Thanks for the suggestion!
