I have a huge lilac bush growing in my front landscape that was planted by the previous home owner. It is blocking one of the windows on the front of our house. I want to prune it back considerably but I'm concerned of what it will look like if I do. I don't want a bush of sticks when everything else is greening up and in bloom. If I prune it, will I get new growth, or will it look naked until next spring? I plan on possibly moving it in the future. Thanks!
