Heres hoping someone can help me. I am seeking out blackberry plants that will thrive in this area zone5 casco wisconsin. However in checking out even the UW extension office they have nothing on blackberries in Wisconsin.
Theres a zillion types out there but as you all know just cause it says it will grow here in the ad is not always the case. Imput from this community is far better. Any suggestions and experiences, tips and thoughts would help me out greatly...Thanks a bizillion

RE: Blackberry rookie on-board need advice.

I just got my order from Nourse Farms, I chose a thornless type called Triple Crown. The people on the fruits and orchard forum say that this is a blackberry machine. They say hardy to zone 5, but a good mulching might get them through zone 4 winters. Looking forward to seeing how they do. primitive
