Barrel by my kitchen door

| Guess what's in the center of my half barrel? A sprouted rutabaga! It has pretty light green leaves and is budding.Surrounded by white pansies and red dianthus. Couldn't bear to throw it out so planted it. |

| It looks like a big radish, but the leaves are smooth and paler green. It's about to bloom. |
