I have a beautiful birdbath I have planted Dichondra Silver Falls in. I know it will not stand the cold Missouri winters. So I would like to know if at the end of the season I trim it and place in a pot and move it indoors for the winter.

Some people grow this as a houseplant, so I would say as long as the acclimation went ok, you should be just fine.

Absolutely. I bring some in every year. I root it and keep it cool and dryish under lights for the winter. This year there was some in a pot of agapanthus that I kept cold, bone dry and in the dark (around 50 degrees) for the majority of the winter. It remained unfazed by the process, and is now happily growing again.

WebKat5 & Michael in Chicago, thanks for the answers. I'm in Virginia (7b, nothing like northern Illinois) but I still fear my dichondra won't make it outside. It's coming in! :)
