nutrients in our pond?

Posted by julyworth 5 (My Page) on

I'm wondering if the thick dark mud at the bottom of our farm pond is something that would be full of nutrients for our garden? Anyone ever put this mud in with their garden dirt?
(We do use the pond water to water the garden with)

Why not have it tested at a soil lab to see what you have. It could be black gold for the garden. Just curious... how will you get it out?
