Had a shady garden, now it's full sun - what to do?

Until a bad storm brought it down a week and a half ago, I had a big, beautiful Black Walnut shading my house and garden. It was on the southwest corner of the house. Now all my perennials and shrubs that were selected for their shade tolerance are in full sun most of the day (9-10 hours). Can anyone provide advice on the following?

The English Ivy ground cover on the south side of my house is scorched and losing leaves. Any chance it will recover or should I start pulling it out?

I had 4 rhododendrons on the east side of the house that were crushed by the incident - a few branches left, but not much. Again, should I bother trying to rejuvenate them or just replant?

Lastly, a mockorange that I had planted two years ago (southeast corner of the house) lost all it's branches down to the ground. Will it pop up again with proper care?

Trying to deal with it all but any advice will be appreciated!
