Annual Herb Festival on tap this weekend in Greene, Iowa if anyone is interested. Here are the details:
GREENE -The 14th annual Herb Festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Sunday, July 27, at 115 North Main St. in Greene. There will be about 40 vendors this year, all with garden-related items. There will be plants, herbs, perennials, annuals, hostas, roses, books, soaps, candles, willow furniture, garden ornaments, essential oils, medicinals, aromatherapy items, birdhouses, benches and much more. There will also be a harpist playing and food at the sidewalk cafe.

Free hourly seminars will be held throughout the day.?The schedule is as follows: 11 a.m.: Making Hypertufa Containers by Becky Schoenfeld; Noon: Rain Gardens by Ann Bushman of Annies Garden and Greens; 1 p.m. Benefits
of Goat Milk Soap by Holly Hurley; 2 p.m.: Perennial Gardening by Willowglen Nursery, Decorah; 3 p.m.: Fall Planting for Spring Blooms by Becky Litterer of Beckys Greenhouse.

There is no admission fee and plenty of parking. For more information,
