I've never planted a fall crop.
What could I plant in Kansas City, for some veggies this fall?

Thanks
Don

Hi Don,

You can plant any of the early spring crops that enjoy cooler weather. I usually grow radishes, spinach & lettuce for fall harvest. Some other choices are chard, cauliflower, peas, turnip, collards, kale, beans, etc. Here is an article on veggie gardening in the fall-

When should we be planting? I would love to re-grow Brocolli, Spinach and Ssugar Snap peas!

Should I germinate them in a bag and sow them because the ground is so warm?
