perennials that bloom at the beginning of June

I should have posted this a month ago, but I'm wondering for those of you who keep records, what blooms in your garden at the start of June.

My daughter's birthday is the first week of June, so that is the time we probably have the most people over in the year, so I really wish I had more blooms for that time. My garden is looking great now in July, and there are lots of blooms in late April/early May from bulbs, but it seems the start of June there's not a lot going on.

I just ordered a few alliums for next year, so I'm hoping that one of them might be in bloom then, but I was wondering if anyone had any advice. Maybe I just need to depend on annuals instead.
