Need Advice on Palms and Bananas in KC!

I'm in Kansas City, Missouri. Zone 6a. The winters here are usually like that of zone 7b. Every 3 or 4 years we will dip below the 0F mark. We very often have warm periods of 60+ degrees and our cold snaps do not usually last m ore than 10 days. Our summers are very hot and humid. With daytime highs sometimes staying above 100 for a week or more.

So what I'm wondering is which Palm would be the best for my area? A Sabal Birmingham, Sabal Minor, Trachycarpus Takil, or a Bulgarian windmill palm. And I have seen a lot of people with Musa Basjoos in their yards, do you think that those are a good solution also? I've been doing research on all of these plants, but I need some advice from some people with real life experiences. I'm looking to start planting by the middle of August.

Any advice ios helpful thanks
