Heat and just let beds go
What are you doing in this heat with your flower beds, are you just letting them die down or keep watering and hope for the best. I know some people are on water rations so don't have much choice

RE: letting your flowers beds die

I don't know that I'll be much help as I just bought a house here and don't have much experience with this area. But, I was in Texas last year with the terrible and long heat. I watered what I could and when I could, and let most things go. The truly hardy stuff stayed, and many things just died at the top. They came back the next spring and when it cooled down.
