I wish I had Lobelia volunteers.

-Squash of all kinds

-Marigold
-Morning Glory ---grrrrrrr- I rue the day I planted this. But 'President Tylor' is so very beautiful
-Datura
-Kiss-me-over-the-garden-gate
-Verbena bonariensis
-Euphorbia marginat
-Poppy

For a while I had Cornflower-Centaurea cyanus but I have not seen it anymore.

I welcome all of them in my garden. If they get too unruly, I just pull them out. Love these buggers. :-D

The Lobelia volunteer might have been a one time thing, but now that I am growing a few in the ground as a bedding plant, I'll have to check back next year have to see if those sprout.

- Catchfly. I don't know why I bothered buying seeds from Park. I was going to plant some, but I ran out of time/space. Sure enough several sprouted from someone's previous gardening. Enough that I had to pull it all out from my garden this year. I felt bad doing it, but it was too tall for the low growing plants I put on the edge of my square garden. (it is still growing in other garden patches though.) Even in those places, I've noticed the other gardeners treating it kind of like a weed. Pulling most of it out and leaving just a few.

- Marigolds - not necessarily volunteers from over the winter, but the ones I planted late May went to seed and those seeds sprouted to bloom again in late July. Now I can't tell which were the volunteers and which were the original by size or amount of blooms.

I blame the cool spring/ rainy first half of summer/ dry last half for seeing a lot of seeds regrowing in the same season.

I am about 50 miles west of Chicago, zone 5 and had some volunteers after that nasty winter we just had. Mine were impatiens, feverfew and tomato.
