Contact your local county extention office to find out the expected 1st frost date. Then check on the days to maturity for the veggies you want to plant. Count backwards from the frost date and you should know what you can still plant. Ph# should be under county govt. in the phone book.

Spinch and other cold weather veggies can handle a bit more cool weather if protected from the first frost so you might be able to play with those a bit longer.
